Two-year Attendee of Leadership Seminar
2019 & 2020
This seminar is put on by Sigma Alpha Professional Agricultural Sorority and Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity every year to help attendees grow individually, professionally, and as a chapter.
Two- year Attendee of Student Employee Leadership Institute
2019 & 2020
This event is put on by Program Specialist, Gabby Sauceda, to help student employees grow professionally and gain knowledge that will help them excel in their professional career after college.
Co-Author of Service Hour Guidelines
I collaborated with Program Specialist, Emily Figueroa, and drafted a set of parameters for approval process of university wide student service hours. Before these guidelines were in place there was no consistency in regulation, and the system lacked stability. After these rules were enacted the process became uniform for every scenario.
Earth Teams Volunteer Service Hours
I was apart of a team called Earth Team Volunteers. This group was hand selected by the Head of the Agricultural Department at SHSU to update and refine maps, collect soil samples, and facilitate FFA Area CTE Contests. We worked hand and hand with our County Extension Agent from the NRSC of the USDA.
